On Wednesday as I was headed out to work, I bent down to take a photo of what I have always called sticker weed. The entire yard was covered with it. It was quite pretty. I had never stopped to notice it's beauty before. I was always pulling it's spiky fruit from my socks and the dog. What a nuisance. And though the sticker week has no chance against a lawn mower, this previously unnoticed beauty made me think of how Creator gives all things, from the smallest quark (because we've yet to name anything smaller) to the largest bodies in the universe, protections.
